NL: Astros vs. Cardinals....This is going to be a tough one for the Cardinals to pull out only because the Astros have played them hard all year. If Cardinal pitching remains good, and the hitting is like what it's been all year, then we'll see a repeat of the Cardinals going to the big show.
AL: Angels vs. White Sox...The Angels have beaten up on the White Sox all year. They always seemed to have their number. With the Angels relievers so good, they have an excellent chance of taking this from the White Sox.
(My hope is that the White Sox bats come alive, and their pitchers really go the extra mile, but I just don't know.)

CARDINALS CHOKED WHILE THE WHITE SOX STROKED
Well, it's two games in a row for the White Sox, and the second playoff game where a White Sox starter went the distance.
Will the Cards pull this out?
Will the White Sox take the pennant?
YES, THE WHITE SOX DID TAKE THE PENNANT!!!
One has to wonder if the Illinois Finance Authority is getting extra return on the high ticket prices that the Sox get?
