Please Help...

As more and more stories of the suffering in the gulf states comes in, it is obvious that our brothers and sisters need our help.

Many don't know where to send donations, or where to volunteer. There are probably many choices, but the American Red Cross seems to be the best choice at this point.

The trouble with picking charitable organizations is that there is always a question as to how much actually goes to the intended target as compared to overhead costs. If anyone knows of a good source for a list of "efficient" charities, especially for hurricane relief, please post and let us know.

"What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."
